International award winner, Kevin Manning is a retired astronomer and educator. His background includes working with such well-knowns as NASA, the Chandra X-Ray Observatory (launched on the space shuttle with the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics), and other ground-based observatories such as Brookhaven National Laboratory. Far from behaving like a retired person, the demand for Kevin's astronomy lectures and workshops keeps him busy travelling a good share of the year. Kevin's presentation circuit includes such places as Tufts University, State University of New York at Stony Brook, the NSTA National Convention, AAAS Breakfast with Scientists, the National Parks Service, along with libraries, schools, conventions and science centers. Kevin is available to present for your organization.
